CRC SP-300 is a superior short term, wet film corrosion inhibitor and lubricant that creeps quickly to cover all exposed metal surfaces, drive out moisture, lubricate moving parts and leave a thin protective coating to protect metal against corrosion up to 9 months indoors. The wet film clings firmly to protect edges and will not crack, peel or become brittle. SP-300 is an exceptional choice for use on process and manufacturing equipment used in corrosive or wet environments. The wet film provides sufficient start-up lubrication to help prevent damage to bearings, cams, motors, casters and other moving parts. SP-300 contains special additives to protect soft, non-ferrous metals from discoloring or corroding. Parts treated with SP-300 can generally be placed into service without removing the film. SP-300 can be applied to electrical contacts and wiring without damaging electrical properties. If necessary, protective film can be easily removed with petroleum solvents. High flash point. Provides increased user safety. Ready to use. No additional mixing or chemical additives required. Emulsifies in water. Presence of water will turn liquid milky white. Continue to apply until run-off turns clear amber to ensure all moisture is displaced. Conductive. Will not restrict electrical current flow if used on contacts, connectors and other electrical connections. Protects contact metals from oxidizing or seizing together contains no known ozone depleting chemicals.
